Glasera started out as a passion project of Itemhound Corporation’s co-founder and former mathlete, Gary Villame, to give back to the math community through technology. Constantly working in the background since 2014, Itemhound has powered numerous math competitions in the country and assisted math organizations with automating their online registration, test administration and proctoring, result generation, certificate generation and distribution, and data analysis, through its white-labeled platform.

To date, it has enabled prestigious organizations such as MMC (Metrobank-MTAP-DepEd Match Challenge), PMO (Philippine Mathematical Olympiad), and AMSLI (Asian Math Science League, Inc.), to seamlessly manage the data of more than 80 competitions and enrichment programs with collectively more than 100,000 participants, from online registration to e-certificate distribution.

With the unexpected COVID-19 outbreak in 2020 and the limited affordable options for educators to effectively manage their classes virtually, Itemhound saw the opportunity to contribute more to the learning community by extending its quality classroom management solution to a wider audience through Glasera.
